Home Renovation Tax Credit

As of 2009, Canadians who spend money on home renovations become eligible to receive a new Home Renovation Tax Credit of up to $1,350.00. Renovations exceeding $1000 are eligible for the income tax credit of 15% of the renovation costs up to a total tax credit of $1,350.
